Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
Location: London, Greater London, Harrow (N, W, and S)

Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom settings
- Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN
- Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Support students with personal care and mobility needs, if required
- Collaborate with other professionals such as educational psychologists and speech therapists
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Knowledge of SEN and experience working with children with additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to different situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- SEN-specific qualifications such as SEN Diploma
- First Aid certification
- Experience using assistive technology for students with SEN
Working Conditions:

- May require some physical exertion when assisting students with mobility needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
