We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join an all girls' school in Earlsfield, London. Job Description: As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to students with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and teaching staff to implement individual education plans and ensure that all students are able to access the curriculum effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support for students with special educational needs.
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities.
  • Promoting inclusion and ensuring that all students feel valued and supported.
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting back to teaching staff and SENCO.
  • Supporting students with personal care and other practical tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in education.
