We are supporting a special needs school in the Ashfield in Sutton, Nottinghamshire area who are looking for passionate, proactive and caring Teaching Care Assistants to support the young people, aged 3 to 18 years, who have a variety of special needs including: ASC, ADHD, PMLD, complex physical, medical and sensory needs. 

The role requires you to work as part of the class team during lesson times, to support pupils with their learning and to meet their personal and postural care needs. The school ensure that the children and young people are at the core of all they do and want the pupils to be excited by what they learn and experience in school.

Candidates applying will need to:

  • Have a sense of humour
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Relish a challenge and enjoy working young people with a range of SEND including behaviour issues

 

The successful educators need to be able to commute to the school and must be willing to undergo any additional training with the school when required. We are looking for educators who can provide child care reference details before applying.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
