SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time, Long Term (Potential Permanent)

An Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team ASAP. This is a full-time role with the potential to become long-term or permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with SEN to access learning across the curriculum.

  • Assist in planning and delivering interventions tailored to individual needs.

  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to monitor pupil progress.

  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (CACHE/NCFE) – essential.

  • Has experience supporting children with SEN, including those with complex needs.

  • Is patient, compassionate, and proactive.

  • Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff.

  • Is flexible, reliable, and committed to making a long-term impact.
