SEN Teaching Assistant
Protocol Education are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking special school who are seeking inspiring, dedicated individuals to work across our provisions in the role of specialist teaching assistant. The school is for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs from across the Borough of Swindon and beyond.
Your daily duties will include:
- Greeting pupils from their buses and bringing them into school
- Settling the class into their tutor group
- Supporting teachers in ensuring all pupils can access their curriculum
- Movement and handling support of pupils as needed
- Personal and medical care for pupils as needed - training provided
- Supervising pupils at break and lunchtimes
- Working closely with teachers to ensure all pupils are supported in school
- Escort pupils onto their buses to go home

Hours of work are 8.30am-3.30pm. No part time hours will be considered.
