We're currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a range of needs, helping them to feel safe, supported and confident in their learning.
Role Overview:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in smaller groups. You'll be helping them access lessons, build independence and develop key life skills. You'll help deliver structured support in line with individual education plans and school expectations. No two days are the same, and every small win, makes a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN and SEMH in a consistent and nuturing way
- Help children feel understood, supported and included in school life
- Help pupils stay engaged and involved during classroom activities
- Create a calm, positive and supportive presence in the classroom
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly SEN experience is highly valued
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or care
- Clear and confident communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
