 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 3 (Challenging Behaviour)

Location: BD4, Bradford
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term

We’re looking for a calm, resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil who presents with challenging behaviour. This pupil needs consistency, patience and an adult who can stay steady when things feel tough.

You’ll be part of a supportive primary school team who understand behaviour as communication and value the role you play every single day.

What your days will look like:

  • 1:1 support focused on regulation, routines and engagement

  • Helping the pupil access learning in and out of the classroom

  • Using clear boundaries, positive behaviour strategies and lots of encouragement

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience supporting SEN or challenging behaviour

  • Can stay calm, patient and positive under pressure

  • Care deeply about helping children feel safe and understood

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
