1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 3 (Challenging Behaviour)

We’re looking for a calm, resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil who presents with challenging behaviour. This pupil needs consistency, patience and an adult who can stay steady when things feel tough.
You’ll be part of a supportive primary school team who understand behaviour as communication and value the role you play every single day.
What your days will look like:

1:1 support focused on regulation, routines and engagement

Helping the pupil access learning in and out of the classroom

Using clear boundaries, positive behaviour strategies and lots of encouragement

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
You’ll be a great fit if you:

Have experience supporting SEN or challenging behaviour

Can stay calm, patient and positive under pressure

Care deeply about helping children feel safe and understood

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
