Protocol Education are working with a school in Sheerness who are currently looking for a teaching assistant to join their dedicated and nurturing school. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting and caring for children with additional needs. The school believes in developing children socially, mentally, and morally as well as academically to give the children the best possible opportunities for their futures. 

The role is on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.

You must live in the UK and be able to prove Right to Work in the UK to apply.

Candidates should have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to make a new application.

The successful candidate will:
• Be warm, kind and caring
• Have a nurturing approach and understand the importance of catering to the various needs of all children
• Feel passionate about helping children to achieve their full potential

The candidate should be able to provide two references and will have relevant experience of working with children or young people.

The candidate will: 
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
