We are currently in partnership with a school in Chesterfield (S40). They are searching to recruit for an SEN Teaching Assistant. This school has been graded ‘good’ by OFSTED. This due to ‘adults taking the time to get to know pupils and their families well. This means they are in a good position to offer appropriate support.’ It is important that the successful candidate can build strong rapports, that allow the students to develop positively.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a Primary Educational setting
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN needs
  • Support students in their personal and educational development
  • Build rapports with the students
  • Handle challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
