We are recruiting a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Durham. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone eager to help children with Special Educational Needs thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN

Support lesson delivery through differentiation and engagement strategies

Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development

Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Adapt classroom activities to support individual learning needs
Requirements:

Experience working with SEN children or young people
-
A calm, patient, and proactive approach
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
