SEN Teaching Assistant – Redcar

Location: Redcar

We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Redcar. This role is perfect for individuals who are motivated to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and contribute positively to their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Assist teachers with differentiated lesson delivery

  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional well-being

  • Support the creation of a safe and inclusive classroom environment

  • Modify learning resources to meet individual student needs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN learners

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive mindset

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
