Job title: Teaching/Learning Support Assistant (SEND)

Location: East London 

Rate of Pay: £70 - £85 a day

Full time / Monday - Friday / 8:30 - 15:30 or 9:00 - 16:00

 

Protocol Education are working with a school within the Hackney area who are offering the opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant specialising in SEND.

 

The sucessful candidate will have a natural affinity for encouraging and supporting children within challenging circumstances alongside maintaining and adhering to the safeguarding of all students. This role involves caring for children that have Autism, Learning Difficulties or delays and some classes will have wheelchairs.

The school promotes various methods of teaching intergrated alongside their standard curriculum which involves creative activities and swimming sessions with children, so we are looking for candidates who are happy and comfortable with water! This is not on a daily basis but you will need to support if needed.

Requirements:

- Proof of your Right to Work in the UK

- Required to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) background check on the update service
