Your day-to-day as a SEN teacher

  • Leading a small, structured class where learning is shaped around each pupil’s needs.

  • Working with a skilled team of support staff to create a calm, predictable environment.

  • Using creative approaches to help pupils communicate, engage, and grow at their own rhythm.

  • Building strong relationships that help pupils feel seen, safe, and ready to try their best

Requirements 

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), with or without prior SEND experience.

  • Someone patient and adaptable who enjoys celebrating progress in all its forms.

  • A teacher who’s confident planning creatively and adjusting ideas on the spot.

  • A team player who values empathy, flexibility, and good communication.
