SEN Teacher – Primary (Specialist Setting)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Pay: £120–£220 per day (PAYE)
We’re working with a warm, inclusive SEN setting in North Tyneside looking for an SEN Teacher to join their team. The school supports children with a range of additional needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs.
What the role involves:

Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

Using strategies that promote engagement, emotional regulation, and communication

Working collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support

Creating a safe, positive learning space that celebrates every achievement
What you’ll need:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting

Adaptable, compassionate approach and great teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
