SEN Teacher – Primary (Specialist Setting)

Location: North Tyneside
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £120–£220 per day (PAYE)

We’re working with a warm, inclusive SEN setting in North Tyneside looking for an SEN Teacher to join their team. The school supports children with a range of additional needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs.

What the role involves:

  • Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

  • Using strategies that promote engagement, emotional regulation, and communication

  • Working collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support

  • Creating a safe, positive learning space that celebrates every achievement

What you’ll need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting

  • Adaptable, compassionate approach and great teamwork skills
