SEN Teacher – Behaviour and Re-Engagement Role
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £140–£220 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
This SEN Teacher role supports pupils who are re-engaging with education after challenging experiences in mainstream settings.
You’ll play a key role in rebuilding pupils’ confidence and helping them develop a positive relationship with learning.
Key duties:
• Delivering engaging, flexible lessons
• Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
• Creating a calm, respectful classroom culture
• Working alongside pastoral and SEN teams
• Helping pupils develop routines and resilience
We’re looking for:
• Qualified teachers with SEN or SEMH experience
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing, patient approach
• Commitment to inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
