SEN Teacher – South Shields

Location: South Shields

We’re looking for a compassionate SEN Teacher who enjoys adapting learning for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication differences and learning difficulties. If you love celebrating small wins and creating a safe, predictable classroom, this role could be ideal.

You’ll be doing:
• Teaching small groups with varied learning profiles
• Using visual supports, structured routines and differentiated tasks
• Supporting pupils with communication and sensory needs
• Working alongside TAs and SENCOs to personalise learning
• Creating a calm, welcoming environment where pupils feel safe

You’ll need:
• QTS or equivalent
• Experience working with SEND
• A warm, adaptable and pupil-centred approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
