Are you a dedicated and inspiring SEN Teacher with a passion for creating a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs? About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a small class of 6-8 students, providing personalised and engaging lessons tailored to each student's unique needs. You will play a pivotal role in helping students with complex autism and high sensory needs thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tailored Teaching: You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that align with individualised learning plans, adapting your approach to meet each student's specific needs.
  • Student Motivation: As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for learning, helping students develop independence and social skills.
  • IEP Development: You will be responsible for creating and implementing Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for students, regularly assessing progress and adjusting strategies to ensure success.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with families, teaching assistants, and other school staff, you will help to build a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Positive Environment: Upholding school policies on learning and behaviour, you will ensure a safe and nurturing space for all students.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a passion for SEN.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with students with complex autism and sensory needs.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning needs.
  • Empathy & Patience: Ability to connect with students and remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
  • Commitment: A flexible and enthusiastic approach to helping each student achieve their full potential.
