Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with school policies and schemes of work.
  • Provide students with regular assessments and feedback to encourage progress.
  • Build positive relationships with Teaching Assistants, creating an outstanding and inspiring learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental and staff meetings to share best practices.

To Be Successful, You'll Need:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Enhanced child DBS on the Update Service.
  • Understanding of various SEN types (ADHD, ASC, SEMH, SEND, SLCN) and effective teaching methods.
  • Strong subject knowledge, delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Passion for education and fostering the best in each student.
  • Positive, consistent, and proactive behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learning styles.
  • Resilient and positive nature.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
