About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Teacher to deliver a personalised curriculum within an alternative education setting. The role focuses on re-engaging pupils through flexible teaching approaches that support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupil needs.

  • Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural challenges.

  • Create a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.

  • Track pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.

  • Work closely with support staff and leadership teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Experience in alternative provision, PRU or SEMH settings is desirable.

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

  • Flexible, reflective and resilient teaching approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
