SEN Support Assistant
Location: Newham
Pay: £90–£110 per day (PAYE only)

About the role
You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of SEN and SEMH needs, helping them feel safe, regulated and able to engage with learning throughout the school day.
Your support may include:
- Providing steady 1:1 or small-group support across lessons and the wider school day
- Helping pupils navigate emotions, behaviour and social situations
- Supporting transitions, routines and unstructured times
- Encouraging positive communication and independence
- Working closely with teaching staff and SEN leads
Who we’re looking for
- Experience working with young people (SEN, SEMH, PRU or similar settings is ideal)
- Someone calm, resilient and confident during challenging moments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
