SEN Support Assistant
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (PAYE – no umbrella companies)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026

We’re looking for a kind, patient, and proactive SEN Support Assistant to join a brilliant special school supporting pupils with a range of complex needs — including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
No two days will be the same, but everyone will make a difference. You’ll be part of a team that creates a safe, structured, and genuinely joyful space for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups across different classes
- Helping children access learning through tailored support and practical guidance
- Using positive behaviour strategies to promote independence and confidence
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists to meet EHCP targets
- Bringing empathy, creativity, and consistency to every interaction

- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)
- A calm, nurturing approach and a big dose of patience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
