Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education is looking for caring, supportive, and dedicated LSA's who have experience working with pupils either as part of small groups or on a one-to-one basis. We are recruiting for LSA's to work in primary schools based in Shropshire, as well as surrounding areas.


The Role. 

• Working closely with the staff team, specifically teachers to contribute to student's EHCP's and individual needs academically and socially

Plan and deliver interventions alongside the teacher             

• To support in managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.

• De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered.

• Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.

If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant and have supported children with a range of SEND's or offered general classroom support, then please get in contact, and apply! All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
