Are you ready to be a real-life superhero in the classroom? We’re looking for a passionate, patient, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing school community. You’ll work closely with children who have special educational needs (SEN), helping them unlock their potential and thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs

  • Assist in implementing EHCPs and tailored learning plans

  • Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support

  • Use creative strategies (visual aids, sensory tools, play-based learning) to promote engagement

  • Support pupils during transitions, break times, and off-site activities

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN

  • Excellent communication and empathy skills

  • Resilience, adaptability, and a sense of humour

  • Experience in SEN settings is a bonus—but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
