We are working in close partnership with college located in Walthamstow who are seeking to appoint a SEN Learning and Behaviour Mentor.

As a SEN Learning and Behaviour Mentor you will be working with the Head of Year and the safeguarding team to ensure the right support is offered and delivered to each student.

The successful candidate will be working identified students or a sub-set of students to organise and carry out interviews.

You will be supporting students in KS3 to KS5 encouraging good behaviour through a pleasant but firm manner.

Strong communication skills and the ability to create reports is essential for this role as written feedback will be required at the end of every session.

  • Ability to identify and manage appropriate sanctions and rewards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
