SEN Carers – Secondary Schools in Newcastle
£89.39–£100 per day | Long-term opportunities

We are working with secondary schools across Newcastle who are seeking SEN carers to support students with autism, ADHD and complex additional needs.

These roles are classroom-based and focus on providing structured, consistent support to help students access learning and manage the school day.

Your role will involve:

  • 1:1 support for students with SEN

  • Supporting routines, transitions and emotional regulation

  • Working closely with teachers and SEN teams

  • Promoting independence and positive behaviour

Schools are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience supporting individuals with SEN

  • Are patient, calm and reliable

  • Can build positive relationships with young people

School experience is not essential — your SEN background is what matters most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
