We are working with a primary school in Cambridge. We are seeking a compassionate and committed Learning Support Assistant to join them on an ongoing basis.

This school are looking for individuals who are able to provide assistance to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be expected to:

  • Work closely with the class teacher to support students with SEN pupils
  • Provide individualised and group support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students in the SEN

What we need from you: 

  •  Previous experience working with children with SEN needs, preferably within a primary school setting.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
  •  The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  •  Relevant qualifications in education or child development (desirable but not essential).
