We’re supporting a specialist SEMH setting that’s looking for someone steady, patient and encouraging to join their team as an SEMH Teaching Assistant. Day-to-day, you’ll be helping pupils who experience social, emotional and mental health challenges navigate school life with the support they need to succeed.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building strong, trusting relationships that help young people feel safe and understood

  • Supporting routines, behaviour plans and positive strategies across the day

  • Helping pupils re-engage with learning at a pace that works for them

  • Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the SEN team to keep support consistent

  • Celebrating every step forward, no matter how small

What the school is looking for
