We are working with a specialist secondary setting in Sunderland to recruit a SEMH Teaching Assistant for supply and long-term opportunities. The school takes a trauma-informed, relationship-led approach, supporting pupils who need consistency, structure and understanding to re-engage with learning.

This role suits a resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant who can remain calm under pressure and build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.

  • Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
