The role

Location- Stockton-on-Tees 

Salary- 350- 475 

Times- Monday- Friday 815-4pm

Social, emotional, and mental health is a huge area within SEN, and we are looking to appoint a motivated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to help support students with SEMH needs.

We are dedicated to ensuring that the right person gets the right role for them, as this ensures that the students get the best support they need whilst making sure you feel comfortable in your role.

The school is based in Middlesbrough and the role will be Monday-Friday 08.00-16.00. We have a number of positions available for SEMH Support Assistants

The role,

The role will involve supporting students to access their education, whilst helping to break down any barriers that they may come across. You will be working with students in either small groups or 1:1 if there is need.

You will need to be someone who students can easily communicate with and be able to build professional relationships. 

Due to the nature of the role being adaptable is essential. The needs of students can change rapidly and being able to adapt to those changes without hesitation is vital, to best support our students

Ready to work process- 

In order for us to clear you for work, we do need-

- Police Check DBS and OverSeas Police Check if needed (lived abroad for 5months in the past 5years)

- Satisfactory references 

- CV covering the past 10 years

- Completion of a safeguarding course
