Location: Eltham, Greenwich

Protocol Education are seeking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant for local primary school with young people who each have social emotional and mental health issues. The school is based in Eltham, Greenwich and the role will involve working with mainly the Primary children in EYFS and KS1.

The role is part- time, 8.30am - 3.30pm involves delivery to small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis - effective differentiation skills are a must. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous SEMH Teaching Assistant experience or those with transferrable skills to a specialist classroom setting. The role has an immediate start and will be ongoing.

To be considered for the role you must:

  • Hold relevant qualifications.
  • Have experience within a school setting supporting children with SEMH.
  • Confident de-escalating challenging situations. Training would be an advantage but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
