We’re working with a specialist school supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They’re looking for a calm, resilient, and inspiring teacher who can help young people thrive—both inside and outside the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:

Teaching across KS3/KS4 with a focus on personalised learning

Creating engaging, supportive lessons tailored to pupils’ needs

Building strong, trusting relationships with young people

Working closely with TAs, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide holistic support

Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and the skills to succeed beyond school

What we’re looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour (mainstream or specialist)

Strong behaviour management and a nurturing approach

Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
