This South Shields setting supports pupils who need a more therapeutic, relationship-based approach to learning. Staff understand behaviour as communication and work hard to provide consistency, structure and care. They’re now seeking a SEMH Teacher who can help pupils rebuild trust and confidence.

Your role will include

  • Delivering tailored lessons to pupils with SEMH needs

  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour

  • Creating a calm, structured classroom environment

  • Working alongside pastoral and wellbeing teams

What we’re looking for

  • QTS with SEMH or behaviour experience

  • A resilient, patient and reflective teaching style

  • Strong relationship-building skills
