SEMH Support Assistant

Protocol Education are working with a school in Leeds (LS9) who are looking to appoint a confident and experienced teaching assistant to work within Key Stage 2 (KS2). This is a great opportunity to work within a rewarding and supportive team with a clear child centered approach. The role will involve supporting two pupils based in Year 5 as an SEMH Assistant, managing behaviour and working towards the childrens individual targets in place. The school are looking for someone that can really engage with these pupils and promote positve behaviour management stratgeies.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have experience working with SEMH or SEND
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to providing a safe and enriching learning space.
  • Be organised and reliable.
  • Have good behaviour management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
