We are currently seeking a number of Behaviour Support Assistants, to support students in a school in the Stockton-On-Tees area.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting students SEMH, and Behaviour that Challenges. You will need to be able to prove you have high levels of knowledge and experience within this role. 

About the Role:

Working as a behavioural support assistant you will provide support for students with SEMH needs who may find it difficult or be reluctant to engage in education.
This includes building a rapport with students and creating positive relationships that helps to influence their behaviour and an understanding of triggers.
This role is initially temporary; however, this may become permanent for the right person.

What we need from you:

If you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or are passionate about improving the outcomes for young people this is the role for you.
You should be outgoing and confident in your abilities to deal with behavioural difficulties and re-engaging students in education.
Team teach is desirable not essential, and the ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with young people who have SEMH needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
