Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Location: Bradford.

Protocol Education are seeking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant for local primary school with young people who each have social emotional and mental health issues. The school is based in Bradford and the role will involve working with mainly the Primary children in KS1 and KS2.

The role is full time, 8.30am - 3.30pm involves delivery to small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis - effective differentiation skills are a must. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous SEMH Teaching Assistant experience or those with transferrable skills to a specialist classroom setting. The role has an immediate start and will be ongoing.

To be considered for the role you must:

  • Have experience within a school setting supporting children with SEMH.
  • Confident de-escalating challenging situations. Training would be an advantage but not essential.
