SEMH Primary Teacher – Sunderland 

You’ll work with young pupils who’ve had a tough start and need adults who stay patient, present, and emotionally available.

Your day may include:
• Teaching core subjects in creative, engaging ways
• Supporting pupils through emotional regulation
• Using restorative conversations and positive behaviour strategies
• Working closely with pastoral leads and mental health support
• Celebrating every milestone

You’ll bring:
• QTS and primary teaching experience
• SEMH knowledge and trauma-informed understanding
• Emotional resilience and humour
• A strong sense of compassion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
