This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the trusted person a young person turns to when the day feels heavy, and who can offer warmth without judgement.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs across the school day

Helping students regulate, reset and re-engage with tasks when things feel overwhelming

Building strong, consistent relationships that help pupils feel safe and respected

Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams and therapists to deliver clear, structured support

Using calm strategies for de-escalation and emotional regulation

Encouraging small steps of progress and celebrating every win

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
