Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEMH Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing support to students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) in order to improve their behaviour and academic outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs in managing their behaviour and improving their academic outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to support the SEMH needs of students.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work or related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques or willingness to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
