Secondary Teaching Assistant – Learning & Behaviour Support

£90 to £115 per day

This is a brilliant role for someone who notices the quiet student in the back row, the one who needs a nudge of confidence or a friendly face to help them settle. You’ll join a secondary school in Northumberland that truly values its support staff and works as a team to keep every student moving forward.

Your role will include
• Supporting students one-to-one and in small groups
• Helping pupils with additional needs stay engaged and confident
• Working alongside class teachers, SENCO, and pastoral leads
• Encouraging positive routines, resilience and independence

You’ll fit perfectly if you
• Have experience supporting young people, whether in schools or youth settings
• Are patient, steady and great at building trust
• Enjoy seeing slow and steady progress
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or are willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
