Secondary Teaching Assistant

What you’ll do as a Teaching Assistant

  • Support pupils during lessons and independent tasks
  • Help with classroom routines and organisation
  • Offer encouragement to pupils who need extra guidance
  • Assist teachers with resources and behaviour expectations
  • Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups when needed

What you’ll bring as a Teaching Assistant

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Patience, positivity and strong communication
  • Teamwork and willingness to learn
  • An enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
