Secondary Teaching Assistant - Swindon
Protocol Education are working alongside a Swindon based Secondary School to appoint a Teaching Assistant support its dedicated curriculum support team in providing support to young people across all age ranges and abilties.

Hours: Usually 08.30 – 15.00

Working as a TA you Would:
- Support specific students through their day to day school life
- Support class teachers in the general delivery of the class
- Work within the SEN and wider school staffing team
- Understand various SEND and how to support these in the school environment
- Strive to make the classroom and school an engaging environment
- Understand and comply with all safeguarding polices and procedures.
The school are looking for someone who:
- Has at least grade C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent;
- Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children and supporting them in their development;
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
- Is self-motivated, dedicated and consistent;
- Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
- Is a strong team player, good at building relationships;
- Has a confident, resilient and flexible attitude;
- Is organised and enthusiastic;
- Has experience of working with children / young people in a school environment (desirable).
