About the Role

We are recruiting a Secondary Teacher to deliver personalised learning programmes to pupils who require an alternative route to education. Subjects may include English, Maths, PSHE or vocational learning, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupil ability and need.

  • Support pupils working towards entry-level or unit-based qualifications.

  • Promote positive engagement and behaviour.

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils.

  • Support pupils’ preparation for reintegration or next steps.

Skills & Experience

  • QTS essential.

  • Experience in alternative provision, PRU or SEMH settings preferred.

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

  • Passion for making a difference in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
