Secondary SEND Teacher – South Shields

Location: South Shields
Salary: £120 to £220 per day
Contract: Full time

Here’s a chance to teach in a nurturing SEND environment that really understands young people with complex needs. Classes are small, support ratios are high, and creativity is encouraged.

You’ll lead engaging lessons for KS3–KS4 pupils working at varied curriculum levels. Think practical learning, relationship building, and celebrating the kind of progress that doesn’t always fit neatly on a data sheet.

You’ll be great for this role if you:
• Are confident adapting the curriculum
• Bring patience and humour to your teaching
• Understand autism, communication needs, or SEMH

What you get:
• Supportive SLT who value teachers properly
• Access to specialist SEND training
• Weekly PAYE pay and ongoing support
