Learning Support Assistant, Secondary SEN
Start date: As soon as possible
Contract: Full time or part time, term time only

We are looking for a thoughtful and steady Learning Support Assistant to work with secondary students who need a bit of extra support to stay confident in lessons and connected to school life. If you enjoy building trust with young people and you are good at seeing the person behind the behaviour, this role is a lovely fit.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting students with a mix of additional needs including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Helping young people stay focused, organised and ready to learn
  • Guiding pupils through tricky moments with calm, consistent communication
  • Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams and SEND staff
  • Encouraging independence and celebrating every small win

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
