Salary: £120 - £160 per day, subject to experience
Are you passionate about creativity and design? Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Textiles Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Sunderland. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 and help them develop their skills in textiles and fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative textiles lessons aligned with the curriculum for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the textiles curriculum and share best practices.
- Foster a love for textiles, encouraging students to explore techniques in design, sewing, and fabric manipulation.
Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Experience teaching textiles in a secondary school setting, particularly in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for textiles and the ability to inspire students to explore their creativity.
