We’re working with a well-established secondary school in West Newcastle, serving a close-knit local community. The school has a strong pastoral focus, clear behaviour expectations, and a supportive English department that works closely together.

They’re looking for an English teacher who can step confidently into KS3 and KS4 classes and keep learning moving.

The role

  • Teaching English across KS3 and KS4

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons with space for your own style

  • Supporting pupils with mixed abilities

  • Working within a calm, well-structured department

You’ll suit this role if you

  • Hold UK QTS

  • Have experience teaching English in secondary schools

  • Are confident managing behaviour

  • Enjoy building positive classroom relationships
