Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools in and around Bridgwater
Pay: £95–£120 per day (£140+ if you hold QTS)
Contract: Day-to-day and short-term roles available
Start Date: As soon as you’re ready (we can get you cleared in 15 days!)
Location: Bridgwater, Highbridge, Taunton and nearby areas (driving helps, but not essential)

Protocol Education is developing new relationships with local secondary schools who are looking for confident, enthusiastic people to step into classrooms and support students when teachers are away.
If you’ve ever led a group, coached a sport, managed a team, or been the go-to organiser in your uni society, you’ve already got the kind of leadership skills that make a great Cover Supervisor. You don’t need a teaching qualification - just confidence, patience, and a genuine interest in working with young people.

What you’ll be doing
• Leading classrooms across a range of subjects (all lessons pre-planned)
• Encouraging and supporting students to stay focused and engaged
• Managing behaviour calmly and confidently
• Collecting completed work and ensuring a smooth handover for the classroom teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
