About the Role
Love the buzz of a busy school day but not the planning load? This one’s for you.
We’re looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor who’s confident stepping into classrooms across a range of subjects in Wolverhampton secondary schools. You’ll be keeping lessons on track, maintaining calm, and making sure learning carries on seamlessly when teachers are away.
Every day’s a little different – one morning it’s Year 9 History, the next it’s Year 11 Science. If you’ve already worked in schools and know your way around a classroom, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supervising pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4

Managing classroom behaviour and supporting students’ learning

Building rapport with staff and pupils alike

Bringing energy, adaptability, and a sense of humour to each day

Previous experience working in a school setting (essential)

Confident classroom presence and great communication skills

A flexible, reliable approach

A genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
