Secondary Cover Supervisor

Are you keen to gain meaningful classroom experience and take your first step into education? We’re recruiting reliable, enthusiastic Cover Supervisors / Unqualified Teachers to support day-to-day learning in a well-regarded secondary school in Bristol.

This is a great opportunity for new graduates, those considering teacher training, and unqualified educators to develop practical skills in a supportive environment, with training provided at no cost.

 

What the role involves

• Supervising lessons across a range of subjects when teachers are absent

• Maintaining positive learning environments and good behaviour

• Following lesson plans and school behaviour systems

• Supporting students aged 11–18 to stay focused and engaged

Pay

• Starting from £100 per day (PAYE)

• Pay increases with experience and added responsibility

• Weekly PAYE pay - no umbrella fees

• Graduates or school leavers interested in education

• People considering teacher training (this counts as real school experience)

• Unqualified teachers who want to grow their classroom confidence

• Confident communicators with good behaviour management and professionalism

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
