Secondary Classroom Supervisor

What your role looks like as a Classroom Supervisor

You’ll deliver pre-prepared work to classes when the teacher is absent, maintain routines and keep pupils on task. It’s a brilliant option for graduates, aspiring teachers or anyone who enjoys classroom responsibility.

As a Classroom Supervisor you’ll be responsible for

  • Delivering cover lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Keeping pupils engaged with the set work
  • Supporting behaviour expectations
  • Recording attendance and lesson notes
  • Creating a calm and positive learning space

What you’ll need as a Classroom Supervisor

  • Strong communication and confidence
  • Experience with young people in any setting
  • A calm approach in busy classrooms
  • An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
